Zoos, Good or Bad?

Many people believe that zoos are bad, but they don't really know the entire story. They usually believe wildlife should not be kept in captivity because they don't get to live their life to the fullest, but they should really find out more about how maybe being in the zoo is better to ensure the animal's survival. Animals do actually live better in a zoo. They have all the food they need, and so they won't die of starvation. Most have all the space they need, and there are others of their kind to keep them company. Also, being in a zoo won't let animals die out, won't let them become extinct, and anyway, where else would you have a chance to see all of these animals in your life? Nowhere else right?  I didn't think so. You can learn a lot from these magnificent animals, and you don't have to read a boring book, or sit lazily in front of a TV all day watching some even more boring documentary on how these animals live. It's more interesting to actually be able to see the animals socialize with one another, eat, and even play than to have to see or read some 2nd hand account from some australian dude. Probably. THat's just why Zoos are good and should be kept.

  1. I think you make a good point about the fact that zoos protect animals from becoming extinct.

ps...change your font...it's way too hard to read (or maybe I am just getting older...)
